This standard applies to the establishment of criteria for design, manufacture, testing, inspection, installation, maintenance, use, training and operation of mast climbing work platforms that are primarily used to position personnel, along with their necessary tools and materials, to perform their work. Platforms may be adjustable by manual or powered means.
