This International Standard specifies the classification of wire electrodes, strip electrodes, wires and rods for the gas-shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, plasma arc welding, submerged arc welding, electroslag welding and laser beam welding of stainless and heat-resistant steels.
