Insulating materials based on mica - Part 3: Specifications for individual materials - Sheet 7: Polyester film mica paper with an epoxy resin binder for single conductor taping
This International Standard specifies the requirements for an electric insulating material containing mica paper with polyester film and with an epoxy resin binder for single conductor taping. The material is supplied in a flexible state with the resin in the B-stage for final cure after application. It is supplied in roll form. This specification refers only to single film, although compositions with polyester film facings of various thicknesses are available. The specification covers material having a nominal thickness from 0,07 mm to 0,12 mm.
