This standard applies to automatic electrical controls for household and similar use. Part 1 gives the general requirements. Part 2s to be used in conjunction with Part 1 will give particular requirements for specific types of controls. This standard does not apply to automatic electrical controls intended exclusively for industrial applications unless mentioned in the relevang part 2.
