Nanocoatings of cutting tools based on diamond and cubic boron nitride. General technical requirements and test methods
This part of ISO 3002 defines forces and torques exterted by a tool or by the cutting part on the workpiece, energy and power for particular operations on specific machine tools and details of individual quantities. Contains terms in English, French and Russian as well as the equivalent terms in German, Italian and Dutch.
Basic quantities in cutting and grinding -- Part 4: Forces, energy, power
This part of ISO 3002 deals with the establishment and application of the conversion formulae under the headings: definitions of the coordinate axes (based on ISO 841), definitions of the setting angles and motion angles, conversion formulae, pratical examples. Contains terms in English, French. Russian as well as the equivalent in German and Dutch.
Basic quantities in cutting and grinding -- Part 2: Geometry of the active part of cutting tools -- General conversion formulae to relate tool and working angles
This part of ISO 3002 deals specially with the geometric and kinematic quantities in cutting. Is generally applicable to all machining operations, including grinding. Defines feed , cutting edge and related quantities, engagment, cut and pass and their dimensions. and the material removal rate respectively. Contains terms in English, French, Russian as well as equivalent terms in German, Italian and Dutch.
Basic quantities in cutting and grinding -- Part 3: Geometric and kinematic quantities in cutting
The aim of this part of ISO 3002 is to apply the basic teminology defined in the parts 1 to 4 specifically to grinding operations. The meaning of the word grinding is considered in a limited sense as a material removal operation in which the tool is a grinding wheel. The primary motion is the rotation of the grinding wheel. A feed motion is applied to the tool or workpiece to obtain a continuation of the removal of workpiece material in the form of small chips by the action of individual cutting edges. It may consists of several components.
Basic quantities in cutting and grinding -- Part 5: Basic terminology for grinding processes using grinding wheels
This second edition, which cancels and rreplaces ISO 3002-1:1977, incorporates draft Addendum 1 and draft Amendment 1. Defines general terms for surfaces on the workpiece, certain elements of the tool, surfaces on the tool, the cutting edges and the toll and workpiece motion, reference system of planes which are subsequently used to define the various angles and chip breakers. Contains terms in English, French and Russian and further in German, Italian and Dutch.
