Resilient floor coverings - Determination of dimensional stability and curling after exposure to heat
What is BS EN 15468 about? BS EN 15468 discusses about Laminate floor coverings. BS EN 15468 specifies characteristics, states requirements and gives test methods for laminate floor coverings. BS EN 15468 specifies laminate floor coverings which are generally designed for floating installations and are considered for domestic and commercial levels of use, including domestic kitchens. In general laminate floor coverings can only be used in those areas when authorized by the manufacturer and under conditions described in the manufacturer's installation guidelines. BS EN 15468 includes a classification system based on EN ISO 10874, giving practical requirements for areas of use and levels of use, to indicate where laminate floor coverings will give satisfactory service and to encourage the consumer to make an informed choice. BS EN 15468 also specifies requirements for marking and packaging.

1.1 This specification covers the requirements for the compound and physical characteristics of rubber sheet floor covering without backing. 1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard. 1.3 The following precautionary statement pertains only to the test method portion, Section 10, of this specification: This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety, health, and environmental practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. 1.4 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.
Standard Specification for Rubber Sheet Floor Covering Without Backing
1.1 This test method covers a means of measuring and evaluating the quality of cut (joint tightness) of square or rectangular resilient floor tile. Characteristics that detract from a monolithic (seamless) appearance, such as burred, chipped, nicked, or beveled edges, or bow cut or rounded corners, are measured or observed, or both. 1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard. 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. Standard Test Method for Quality of Cut (Joint Tightness) of Resilient Floor Tile
1.1 This test method covers the determination of both dimensions (length and width) and squareness of resilient floor tile. This test method is intended for use with square tiles ranging from a nominal 9 in. (226 mm) to 40 in. (1016 mm) in dimension. 1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard. 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
