本标准规定了以液体及其他液体耦合方式对被检物进行超声纵波直射探伤时应遵守的一般规则。 以液侵蚀超声脉冲回波法进行纵波直射探伤时,通常采用能在液体(一般为水)中工作的单晶片探头作为发社和接收高频超声波脉冲的换能器。通过液体介质,探头将超声波垂直的射入被检物。当材料内部有反射体(包括缺陷及其它能反射超声波的物体)时 ,超声能量便从该处反射回来,被探头接受,转变为电脉冲信号,经电子仪器放大后在应光屏上以脉冲波形式显示出来。根据超声回波的有无、回波的幅度及出现回波的范围,可判断反射体的有无、深度位置和大小。根据底波减弱的幅度也可判断缺陷和材制衰减情况。
