Part 9: Magnetic tapes for audio recording. Part 10: Headphones. The object of this standard is to prescribe the required minimum values of the characteristics of audio equipment and systems for high quality reproduction which are designed for household use. * A combination equipment is a set of two or more individual units intended by the manufacturer to be used together and marketed by him as such. For example, a set might consist of a tuner-amplifier, a pair of loudspeakers and a record playing equipment.
