This British Standard defines tests to evaluate the effect of various icing conditions on the performance of components or equipment in aircraft. Tt should be read in conjunction with British Standard 3G. 100 : Part 0.
Three different tests are given, each of which has a specific field of application. The relevant equipment speci-fication will prescribe which test is to be used and also the appropriate functional checks.
